Get to Know Patrick Liu

Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Patrick Liu and I am a junior graphic designer focused on typography, layout systems, and clear visual communication. My work emphasizes structure, clarity, and thoughtful design, creating clean and effective visual solutions.

I am currently studying graphic design at BCIT, where I have developed a foundation in branding, editorial design, and visual identity systems. Through projects such as brand identity and publication design, I have gained experience creating cohesive and well-structured design solutions. I focus on using typography and layout to communicate ideas clearly and effectively, using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

My approach centers on simplicity, consistency, and attention to detail. I prioritize clear communication over trends, with a strong interest in editorial design and branding systems. Outside of design, I enjoy hiking, biking, and outdoor photography.
